The near future?

These are pages i did as a test drive for a comic book project, that i hope to show around at this year´s New York Comicon , as well as next year´s Angoulême festival. I´m working on it with my buddy João Lemos, who´s the co writer, co plotter of the whole thing.
It´s a very ambitious story, and it will hopefully be a fun filled adventure, with engaging characters, and a genuine attempt to try and capture a drop of that unexplainable feeling i got when i was a kid and watched such masterpieces as Future Boy Conan, or The Mysterious Cities of Gold.
I´m a big proponent of bringing fun and adventure back to comics, and as someone said before, make them accessible from the ages of 7 to 77! :)

X-23 one shot BW pages

Here´a montage in black and white of all the pages i did in the X-23 one shot that came out a few months ago. It was written by the very talented Marjorie Liu.
I illustrated the dream sequence part of the story, while my buddy Filipe Andrade did the the real world part. It was a crazy, fun gig. :)
